A letter to our guests from The Seven Oaks Manchester

Over the past 17 months we've had to close completely three times, reduce our opening hours by 50%, consider redundancy for many of our amazing team due to not being able to afford furlough contributions and operate under ever changing ridiculous restrictions (scotch egg rule, really?!) when we have been able to open.

From 19th July all mandatory restrictions will be lifted. Our plastic screens will be gone, we will no longer be required to take bookings or turn many of you away because we don't have a spare table. Our team will be able to serve you from the bar and give you the warm and friendly greeting you'd expect rather than having to demand you sign in, put your mask on, sit down and be quiet. Hospitality will finally become hospitable again.

We've worked hard over the last 17 months to stay afloat and be here for all of our amazing customers, old and new, who have tolerated and respected these rules.

Hand sanitiser will still be available to all, you can continue to sign in with Track & Trace if you wish, and we'll continue to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

On behalf of the entire team, thank you for being awesome and we can't wait to welcome you all with open arms and a smile that you can actually see!
